ACCRA | JOHANNESBURG

Join us in Accra at the Foundation for Contemporary Art - Ghana for an extra special episode, recorded following the opening of the latest OtherNetwork exhibition guest curated by NGO (Nothing Gets Organised) from Johannesburg. FCA Ghana co-director Ato Annan discusses how the space became a hub for Accra’s wider artistic community, before being joined by Sinethemba Twalo from NGO to talk about collaborative modes of artistic production, and their mutual appreciation of the inspirational figure of W.E.B. Du Bois, whose final home and resting place sets the scene for the exhibition.

Construction of installation by Jabu Arnell at FCA-Ghana as part of the exhibition guest curated by Sinethemba Twalo for NGO-Nothing Gets Organised (2023).

FCA Ghana
The FCA is an active network of artists created to offer an alternative platform for the presentation, development and promotion of contemporary art in Ghana.
NGO-Nothing Gets Organised
Nothing Gets Organised platform functions as an unconventional, defiant space for practitioners to unravel and detangle their practices free of commercial restraint. Here, research is ongoing, malleable and open ended.
