Albert Afotey Nii Shippie (born 1995) is a young contemporary artist who is basically working with hibiscus flower, coffee and other African herbs making reference to African culture in a contemporary way. With my interest in culture and philosophy, most of the elements that makes up my art works are chosen from the cultural view to make it contemporary. My art work seeks to question the foundation of art from the pre-historic age; before industrialization set in.
