Annalena Amthor is a curator, researcher and writer. The foundation of her practice is the notion that art is an extraordinary form of communication, which has the power to bring across various subject matters in all ways imaginable. She specialises in environmental art, particularly the merging point of art and science. In her practice, she creates immersive experiences to reach the audience not only on a cognitive level but also an emotive one in the hope that they will catalyse change.
