Based in Nigeria, Bénédicte Kurzen (b. 1980, France) generates work that concerns cross cultural narratives and social redefinitions. Her practice is a combination of a documentary approach, metaphoric visual elements and collaborative processes. A former Pulitzer Center and European Journalism Center grantee, and the Carmignac Photojournalism Award. She is a member of the National Geographic Photo Society.
