About

Helga Elsner Torres, born in 1989 in Peru, is a visual artist, researcher and author. She completed her studies in fine arts with a BA at PUCP (Perú) and then completed her MA at the Institute for Art in Context at the UDK Berlin. She is working on the topics of German-Peruvian post-colonial (power) relations, post-colonial waves of immigration and the coming to terms with the colonial past. Latests projects are “Where do you (really) come from?” and “Tace, ora et labora”.
