He has performed with leading figures in MPB and is an award-winning authority on Brazilian violas, the guitar, and the Bahian guitar. His latest album, O Blues de Delta do Paraguaçu [The Blues from Delta do Paraguaçu], features slide guitar and vintage sounds across both original compositions and blues classics.
