Ser del Cosmos develops a practice as an artist in which she uses text as a starting point to construct visualities linked to narratives about her identity, or to the ways in which she finds to record and transform the everyday into a source of power. To create, she uses media such as collage, installation, video, murals, posters and screen printing.

Ser considers editorial leisure to be an important curatorial action, and in recent years has worked in independent publishing and publications: between 2021 and 2025, she managed Casa Futura, an independent publishing house that works with different artists and writers from Latin America, and is currently editor and design director under the Cosmos Ediciones label. In addition, she conducts sound and music research in an independent project archiving black music, establishing relationships between sound, identity and blackness, and treating music as a document through which it is possible to understand common narratives of the diaspora. She collects vinyl records with an emphasis on black music and creates sound interventions in public spaces as a way of reclaiming enjoyment and listening.
