About
Efia Serwah (b 1998, Ghana) is a cultural practitioner, writer and artist based in Accra, Ghana. She holds an LLB in International Law and Globalisation. Efia has collaborated and worked with several organisations such as Oroko Radio, Nubuke Foundation and the Good Tree GH, organising creative workshops in music production, art making and creative world-building for underserved communities across Ghana. She is a co-founder of the Femme Artist Network, (FAN) a group of Ghanaian women artists and art practitioners that engage in workshops, exhibition planning and capacity-enhancing programs for members within the industry. Efia has also worked on campaigns such as the Emmy-nominated BBC Africa Eye edition titled “Sex for Grades”. She has organised SA survivor vigils in Accra and Birmingham. Efia Serwah is currently a visual artist under the art collective known as Artemartis.
