About

Luis González Vergara is an architect and artist trained at Universidad de los Andes. His practice moves between art, architecture, landscape, object-making, and pedagogy, with particular attention to the ways territories are inhabited, remembered, and transformed. For Bocas de agua, he expanded his ongoing collaboration with ASOPLAYA to organize an evolving archive built from photographs, oral histories, ecological memory, and the fishers’ own accounts of sustaining the ciénaga.
